- Flu Vaccine: Free for pregnant individuals, those aged 65+ and many with underlying health conditions. If you are not eligible, it’s available for $33.00.
- We also offer Fluad Quad and Flucelvax Quad (non-funded vaccines) both designed to offer greater protection against the flu. Your nurse can discuss the various options with you.
- COVID Vaccine: Free for everyone aged 5 years and over.
My Indici Patient Portal
My Indici is our new secure online patient portal allowing you to manage your health needs and that of your family from anywhere and at anytime. It replaces Manage My Health portal. Send an email using a non-shared personal email address to reception@stalbansmc.co.nz to register.
Allows you to : View results, order repeat prescriptions, book std appts with your primary GP, see immunisations, recalls, measurements, and allow secure communication with your GP.

Phone 033559119, during business hours, or book online via our patient portal My Indici, for an appointment. We continue to triage all consultation requests.
Both in-person and teleconference consultations ( phone, video call ) are available.
Face masks are still mandatory inside the building if you have cough cold or flu like symptoms including consultation rooms.
If you have a cough, runny nose, head cold, flu like illness, or are a close contact of a COVID positive person please advise us on booking, whether or not it is related to your reason for attending. And if you have these features and need an in-person consultation, please follow receptionist instructions and we will see you in a separate area.
Our Health Coach and Health Improvement Practitioner Services :
We are happy to provide this FREE service, based onsite at St Albans Medical Centre and available now. Appointments can be arranged through our general practice team, including our Reception team.
Health Coach – Laura Padgett
Laura can help with lifestyle changes, support and education with long term conditions e.g. prediabetes / diabetes, high blood pressure or cholesterol, gout, asthma. Managing stress, motivation, loneliness. Support with healthy exercise, eating, sleep and study. Accessing support in the community. Advocacy with WINZ.
Eligibile for adults 16 + years with long term conditions.
Works Monday to Friday. 20-30mins sessions in room or outdoor “walk and talk”.
Health Improvement Practitioner – Rachel Morton
Rachel can help with anything getting in the way of your health and well being e.g. grief, depression , anxiety, alcohol and drug, relationship issues, family violence, insomnia, stress. Rachel helps people feeling stuck and works with you to develop a plan and coping strategies.
Eligible for all enrolled patients – free 30 minute unlimited sessions
Works Tuesday to Friday.

- Standard fees apply for in-person, phone, phone video or email consultations.
- Payment can be made online to St Albans Medical Services Ltd bank account 12 3191 0000663 00. Please provide your date of birth as a reference.
Script Requests :
We use paperless ePrescriptions. Our preference is to send electronic scripts direct to your nominated pharmacy. Please observe our 48 hour policy for routine requests.
